      • People assigned female at birth: 5’5” and 150 pounds 
      • People assigned male at birth: 5’1” and 130 pounds
      • O positive, O Negative, A Negative, B Negative blood types
 

Celebrating the Class of 2020

Class of 2020, we know your final year at Appalachian State University did not end as you would have hoped. Through it all, we continue to be amazed by your resilience and are so proud of your accomplishments. The time has finally come to celebrate and recognize you, and the Appalachian Community could not be more excited!
 
  • Ceremonies will be at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm
  • Doors will open an hour and a half prior to the ceremony
  • Clear Bag Policy will be in effect

App State Volleyball vs. Louisiana

App State volleyball will conclude its four-match home stand this weekend by hosting Louisiana at 6:30 p.m. on Friday and ULM at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday. Both matches will be. streamed on ESPN+.

Doors will open to the public 1hr. prior to the start of the match.

DIG PINK
On Sunday, the Mountaineers will host their annual Dig Pink game to benefit the Side-Out Foundation. App State volleyball has set a fundraising goal of $2,000. The proceeds from all donations will benefit the Side-Out Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Fairfax, VA. Side-Out dedicates the majority of donations to their own metastatic breast cancer research. In addition to research, Side-Out allocates a portion of their funds to high-quality support services for cancer patients and their families, as well as college scholarships for students who participate in the Ambassador Program. Education Career Fair

Appalachian State University’s Education Career Fair connects school administrators, superintendents, and other employers from the field of education seeking to hire candidates in education and related fields with talented students and alumni from our Reich College of Education. The Education Career Fair allows a variety of education-related employers to network and discuss career options and employment opportunities with a talented pool of Appalachian State students and alumni.

As a student interested in the field of Education, you will be able to visit with public, private and charter school districts from across the state and from out-of-state as well as additional organizations who are seeking teaching candidates and others who want to work in the education field. Some interview opportunities will also be available following the fair, so come prepared to make an impact!
